Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - July 2009
Opening at the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater in July, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince brings the Hogwarts back to the giant screen. Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is colored by two truths: Lord Voldemort is wreaking havoc on much of Britain and teenage hormones are fully raging. In the film, Harry finds a mysterious potions book bearing the inscription, "Property of the Half-Blood Prince. He begins to explore its custom-made instructions and spells, excelling at creating the potions, but also learning about the ambiguity of magic. Professor Dumbledore also takes Harry on a journey through memory lane to unravel the mystery of Voldemort's past, and later, his immortality.
UNDER THE SEA - Feb. 13th
Under the Sea will offer a uniquely inspirational and entertaining way to explore the impact that global climate change has had on ocean wilderness.
The new IMAX adventure will transport moviegoers to some of the most exotic and isolated under sea locations on earth, including Southern Australia, New Guinea and others in the Indo-Pacific region and allow them to experience face-to-face encounters with some of the most mysterious and stunning creatures of the sea.
Mysteries of the Great Lakes - Coming in March
Through several interlocking stories, including the story of maritime commerce and the ships that move cargo through the inland waterway, Mysteries of the Great Lakes will take you on a journey through the greatest lake system in the world, and showcase the amazing geography, ecology, science, and history of the region through the most powerful film medium in the world -- IMAX.
Coral Reef Adventure - Coming in April
Coral Reef Adventure follows the real-life expedition of ocean explorers and underwater filmmakers Howard and Michele Hall. The Halls guide us to the islands and sun-drenched waters of the South Pacific, including Australia's Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, Tahiti and the mysterious depths of Rangiroa Atoll, to document the health and beauty of coral reefs. On the giant screen, you'll feel like you're diving and exploring right alongside them! Narrated by Liam Neeson.
